You won't hurt my feelings.*** Since the 1960s, artists have been painting the Cape Girardeau, MO, floodwall to commemorate the history of the state and the Mississippi River Valley. The next 30 or so pictures are shots of the newest mural, commissioned in 2003 to celebrate the bicentennial of Lewis & Clark's expedition. The captions were taken from the plaques alongside the mural.
